AV Is No Longer Infrastructure. It Is a Growth Enabler.

India’s economy grew by 7.8% in Q1 FY2026–27. The services sector also remained a major growth engine, supported by strong activity in finance, technology, trade, transport, communications and professional services.
As India accelerates its economic growth, professional AV is helping organisations become more productive, connected and collaborative.
India’s next phase of economic growth will depend not only on how much technology we deploy, but on how effectively people and organisations use it.
That is where Professional Audio-Visual (AV) technology is becoming increasingly important.
The opportunity is growing. India’s professional AV systems market is estimated at approximately ₹58,190 crore in FY2025 and is projected to reach nearly ₹96,890 crore by FY2030. Broader market estimates project growth from around US$6.5 billion in 2025 to US$17.3 billion by 2031.
From smart classrooms and connected workplaces to intelligent factories, command centres and immersive customer environments, AV is helping organisations turn information into decisions, collaboration into productivity, and technology investment into measurable outcomes.
AV may not appear as a standalone contributor in India’s GDP statistics. But its influence can be seen across the sectors driving the economy—manufacturing, technology services, education, healthcare, infrastructure, BFSI, hospitality and government.
The real question, therefore, is not whether AV contributes directly to GDP. It is,
"How much economic value can India unlock because people can communicate better, collaborate faster, learn more effectively and make smarter decisions?"
That is the bigger story of AV—and one the industry needs to start measuring.
